Aves is owned by three optometrists with many years of experience.
All of our optometrists are fully qualified. The history of the
practice and the partners' profiles are included in our page 'History
and People'.
Owen
Aves is an independent practice, which means there is no restriction
on what products or services can be offered to patients. We do not
have to support a hierarchy of managers, bureaucrats and "head
office" expenses, and there is no-one telling us that we can't
carry out a particular examination or treatment procedure if we think
it is appropriate for a particular patient. We are therefore fully
professionally free from the constraints that often restrict larger
organisations.
Impartial
advice is important. No-one should be sold something they don't need
or want for the sake of a commission to a salesperson. That’s why we don't have such a
system. The advice given by the partners and staff of Owen Aves is
completely free of commercial bias. You can be confident that your
needs and desires will be addressed impartially and professionally.
All
our spectacles are competitively priced. We are happy to offer a
guarantee that if you purchase your spectacles from us and then find
the same product (complete frame and lenses) cheaper at another local
practice within 7 days we will refund the difference.
Our
qualified staff are all able to give a high level of advice on your
visual needs. Our support staff are continually trained to be able to
give an excellent level of care.
The
practice is probably one of the best-equipped in North Essex,
underpinning our desire to offer the highest quality of services.
As the
practice is owned and run by two practising optometrists, we offer
the benefit of being able to see a named optometrist on a regular
basis, thus providing the real benefit of continuity of care to all
our patients.
And lastly - we have a comprehensive selection of spectacle frames to
suit all styles and faces. Those we don't stock can often be
obtained, and we can even have frames hand-made for that
"special" situation.
